About the treatment

Types of dentures

A full denture replaces all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw. A partial denture fills gaps when some natural teeth remain, and clips onto them for support. An immediate denture is placed the same day your teeth are removed, so you are never without teeth.

Over time the gums and jawbone change shape, so dentures may need a reline to fit well. If a regular denture feels loose, snap-on implant dentures, mini implants or All-on-X can hold your teeth securely.

Is it right for you?

Dentures may be right for you if

  • You are missing several or all of your teeth
  • Your current denture feels loose, sore or worn
  • You want an option that costs less up front than implants
  • You want to compare dentures with implant-supported teeth. Read All-on-X vs Dentures
