The short answer

We accept many PPO dental plans, including Aetna, MetLife, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Delta Dental, Laborers' Health & Welfare Trust Fund and more. Call us with your plan details and we'll check your benefits before your visit.

Key takeaways

  • We accept many PPO plans
  • Call to check your benefits before your visit
  • Preventive care is usually covered at the highest level
  • Unused benefits often reset each year

Which plans do you accept?

We accept many PPO plans, including Aetna, MetLife, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Delta Dental, Laborers' Health & Welfare Trust Fund, as well as Medicare PPO dental plans. We don't accept HMO plans. See the full list on our Insurance page.

In-network vs accepted: what's the difference?

In-network means the dentist has a contract with your plan and agreed fees. Accepted can also mean we file your claim with a plan we aren't contracted with, and your plan pays its out-of-network share. Our list shows the plans we accept. Call us with your plan details and we'll explain how your benefits work at our office.

What do PPO plans usually cover?

  • Preventive care such as cleanings, exams and X-rays is often covered at the highest level.
  • Basic care such as fillings is usually partly covered.
  • Major care such as crowns and implants is often covered at a lower level, if at all.

Call (714) 505-9462 with your plan details and we'll check your benefits.

Waiting periods, deductibles and yearly maximums

Many plans have a deductible you pay first, a yearly maximum the plan will pay, and waiting periods for larger treatment. We explain how these affect your costs before treatment.

How do I use benefits before they reset?

Many plans reset each year, and unused benefits don't carry over. Planning treatment across two plan years can help.

What if my plan isn't listed?

We accept many other PPO plans too. Call us with your plan details and we'll check your coverage, usually the same day.
